Abstract
Platynereis dumerilii are marine wormsthat reproduce by external fertilisation and exhibitparticular swimming behaviours during spawning. In this paper we propose a novel worm trackingapproach that enables the 2D tracking and featureextraction during the spawning process of theseworms. The gathered data will be used in thefuture to characterise and compare male and femalespawning behaviours.
