Abstract

We introduce a semi-automatic tracking method thatcan be utilized for the analysis of facial markers in themedical condition of facial palsy. Tracking of markerswill help medical physicians in evaluating this medicalcondition quantitatively. We use particle filtering totrack markers towards measuring distances needed toevaluate the degree of facial palsy. We show that by employingtracking methods, the analysis time is reducedwithout losing the high accuracy of the results.
