Abstract

In the past decade, advances in optical-based threedimensionalimaging technologies, such as structuredlight1 and stereophotogrammetry,2 havegained popularity worldwide and offer multiple medicalapplications.3 Understanding the science ofthese technologies is critical so that surgeons canselect the appropriate tool for their clinical practiceor institution.
