Abstract

This project is about visualizing extensive volumetric data and results from physical simulations and experiments in XR.

For this purpose, a CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) to XR software is to be developed, which converts engineering simulation results into XR and can thus be used on AR and VR glasses, for example. Within the project, we will give access to the Mixed Reality Lab to select teachers and researchers, who work with CAE software for which we have already implemented the way to XR visualization (e.g. mechanical engineering, civil engineering, process engineering, chemistry, physics).
