Description

Build a Snap Spectacle prototype that loads and visualizes a BIM model with per-element metadata (life-cycle assessment, circularity, layouts, material flows). The application should support labels from BIM and additional information stored in CSV/JSON/OBJs, and render all data with possible color-map overlays and filtering of specific elements.

Tasks

  1. Review Lens Studio pipelines and literature for mobile AR BIM.
  2. Implement a pipeline for AR rendering of BIM models with additional information and labels.

This topic’s tasks can be used for a PR.

Requirements

  • English (source code, comments, and final report should be in English)
  • Lens Studio experience – preferable, but not mandatory
  • Experience with BIM/IFC Splatting – preferable, but not mandatory
