Description
The goal of this topic is to developed a basic setup for remote virtual production with the hardware avaiable in our MR Lab. In such a setup, one actor is performing inside the stereo CAVE and is being captured by a stereo camera rig. The live capture of the actor and the background rendered in the CAVE is streamed onto the stereo LED wall, where it is being used as a background for the second actor being capured by the second camera rig.
The camera rigs and the synchronization of the cameras and the backrounds are already developed.
This topic can start as a project (PR) and be continued as a master thesis in case of interest and succesfull implementation.
