Investigate the potentials of automatization for platform & infrastructure provision services in computation centers based on the use case of TU Wien. Automation comprises virtualization methods, configuration methods and other areas. Based on qualitative methodology, gather an understanding of the current state, investigate the state-of-the-art and based on this information, perform a gap analysis that leads to a list of potentials for improvement. Please note that this theses need not include an implementation part. Requires good knowledge of state of the art Platform-as-a-Service management. Knowledge in Kubernetes, OpenShift, Openstack or related areas is desired.
