Find a method that allows for comparing the actual impact and the actual costs of maximizing ranking performance for universities. Impact should be operationalized as the choices of students and young researchers for/against a university. The challenge will lie in this operationalization where data is probably sparse. Otherwise, costs and results should be set in relation and computed for the Austrian universities in particular. Requires good knowledge in web data search and data science.
