Soroosh is a Ph.D. candidate in the VR & AR Group, at the Institute of Visual Computing and Human-Centered Technology. His Ph.D. research focuses on “Robotics; Large-Scale Haptic Interactions in Virtual Reality, Based on a Mobile Robotic Platform,” contributing to the significant “SFB Advanced Computational Design” project. This project, a collaboration among various research groups from TU Wien, TU Graz, and the University of Innsbruck, seeks to revolutionize design tools and processes through interdisciplinary research in digital architecture, computer graphics, and more.

Alongside his academic endeavors, Soroosh is a passionate entrepreneur, deeply involved in the European startup ecosystem. His interests in AI and robotics have led him to a career intertwining teaching and interdisciplinary research, especially at the nexus of Virtual, Augmented, and Mixed Reality with Robotics. The excitement of solving complex engineering and scientific problems and discovering innovative solutions fuels his professional journey. His expertise spans various fields, including Robotics, Haptics, Virtual and Augmented Reality, and AI in Robotics, each contributing to his view of the technological landscape in these fields.
